Welcome to this week's edition of the Doxie Blog! This week, our annual Holiday Auction wrapped up, and team DRBC came together Friday to ship out the winner's items. We hope everyone had a fun time bidding, and as always, the donations will go to the best cause, saving these
precious dogs' lives.

Our highest priority this holiday season is finding foster homes. This holiday season will see an upswing in our turn-in rate and the influx has begun. Many will die without our help. It is that simple. Can you open your heart and your home for a few days or a few weeks to these needy doxies?

Just this week, sweet Rosie's arrival to DRBC was delayed due to lack of foster space. You may remember from last week's post; Rosie is the little IVDD doxie who will come to DRBC for rehabilitation. We need YOU! DRBC is a region rescue operating in DE, NJ, Eastern PA and Lower NY. Please follow this link if you can help us help them:

While it may be a short while until we can get Rosie here, we were able to save Pop-Pop. He was used as a bait dog. Starved with many cuts and bruises, he is now SAFE and will heal with time and love.

We also want to give a pupdate on little Chico, the IVDD foundation doxie. The Orange Paw is up for him. He has had the catheter placed and we have averted bladder disaster with him. Did you know that Christmas Trees are considered mildly toxic? Please check out this article and make you home safer for them.
